CLAIM PIPELINE

Template pack ready.

The backend now prepares an airline claim letter, evidence checklist, escalation notes and Brevo-ready notification payload.
View process
Do I need my flight number?
Yes for a claim-grade check. Flight number plus travel date lets us identify the operated flight, airline, route, arrival time and cancellation record. Without it, we can only run a pre-check.
How late does my flight need to be?
For delay compensation, the usual threshold is arrival at the final destination 3 hours or more late, unless the airline proves extraordinary circumstances.
Which routes are covered?
Flights departing the United Kingdom, European Union, EEA or Switzerland are usually covered. Flights arriving from Africa into the UK or Europe can also be covered when operated by a UK, EU, EEA or Swiss airline.
What documents do I need?
Booking confirmation, boarding pass or check-in proof, airline emails or app screenshots, delay or cancellation notices, receipts for care expenses and any message explaining the disruption all help.
What does MeClaims charge?
There is no upfront fee. The success fee shown on the site is taken only when the airline pays. If the claim does not win, there is nothing to pay.

Most passengers give up when airlines ignore them. MeClaims checks the route, disruption, carrier and flight record, prepares the claim and moves valid cases through airline submission and escalation.

01
Check the flight
Flight number and travel date are best. Route, airline and arrival delay are enough for a pre-check, but not for claim-grade verification.
02
Build the claim pack
The backend prepares the compensation amount, legal basis, airline letter, passenger evidence list and escalation path.
03
Submit and chase
Submissions can route through Brevo for intake and, where an airline accepts email claims, into an automated airline email workflow.

Submission rule

Airlines normally require booking reference, passenger names, flight number, travel date, route, disruption details and evidence of arrival delay or cancellation notice.

Evidence rule

Useful evidence includes boarding passes, booking confirmation, airline emails, screenshots, baggage tags, receipts and any reason given by the airline.

Escalation rule

If the airline rejects or does not answer, the next route depends on the carrier and country: ADR where available, CAA/PACT for relevant UK cases, or court action where appropriate.

Flight data source

For live disrupted-flight discovery, use a commercial flight status provider. The backend is wired for AeroDataBox first because it offers flight number lookup, airport FIDS, live updates and historical data. FlightAware AeroAPI and Cirium Flight Status are stronger enterprise alternatives. A live ticker cannot be complete from public regulator data alone.

Every Europe route. Every Africa link.

The route engine checks UK261 and EU261 scope by origin, destination and operating carrier. That covers European routes, Europe to Africa routes, Africa to Europe routes and UK linked routes without hard-coding every airport pair.

Choose a route pair to see UK261 and EU261 coverage.

Europe departures

Flights departing the UK, EU, EEA or Switzerland are normally in scope regardless of airline nationality, subject to the other compensation rules.

Africa to Europe

Inbound Africa to UK/EU routes are normally in scope when operated by a UK or EU/EEA/Swiss carrier. Non-European carriers are usually outside UK261/EU261 for inbound legs.

Europe to Africa

Europe to Africa departures are normally in scope. Compensation level depends on route distance and final arrival delay or cancellation timing.
